Dietary FAQs

We cook from scratch and we're glad to accommodate. Tap a question for the details — and when in doubt, just ask us.

Do you have gluten-free items?

Nearly everything on our menu is gluten-free except the breads, samosas and some desserts. If you have an extreme sensitivity such as celiac, please speak with us — and avoid our fried items, as they're fried in the same oil as our samosas.

Do you have vegan items?

All of our vegetarian curries except saag paneer are vegan. Dosas and uttapams can be made vegan, and we have a number of vegan desserts. We also have milk alternatives for our coffee, hot cocoa and chai.

Do you have dairy-free items?

In addition to the vegan items, our meat curries are dairy-free. Only the tandoori chicken contains dairy — there's some yogurt in the marinade.

Is there corn or soy in any of your items?

No — we do not add soy or corn to any of our food.

Are your meats Halal?

Yes — our beef, lamb, chicken and goat are all Halal.

What kind of oil do you use?

We fry in non-hexane, non-GMO canola oil. Other oils we use include organic coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil, grass-fed ghee, cold-pressed sesame oil, and some mustard oil. Please ask for specifics on any dish.

Do you have onion- and garlic-free items?

We have a few onion- and garlic-free options. We can also prepare onion-free / Jain-style dishes with 24 hours' notice.

Are there peanuts in any of your items?

Only our eggplant curry contains peanuts. We do our best to prevent cross-contamination.

Are there tree nuts (other than coconut) in any of your items?

Our lamb rogan josh contains almonds, and a few of our desserts contain tree nuts.

Have a serious allergy? Please tell us before you order — we'll walk you through your options.
